| Singapore, September 20, 2007 –
Two industry conferences will be held in conjunction
with CIA2007, Asia’s leading event in process engineering,
instrumentation, and scientific equipment. Visitors gracing
the CIA2007 Exhibition are encouraged to also attend these
two conferences, which promise to add value to their roles
within the industry as well as provide unsurpassed networking
and learning opportunities.
The ICS New Technology Forum will be held over 2 days and
aims to connect technology providers in the market by offering
presentations by some of the leading names in the industry
today. Leading companies and institutions represented at this
forum include Dekron Wire and Cable Asia Pte Ltd, Erlab, Profibus,
FDT, PNR Engineering, Komyo Rikagaku Kogyo K.K, Johnson Scientific
Equipment Co., and the National University of Singapore.
Highlights include a presentation by Associate Professor
Seah Kar Heng on the management and manufacturing of the NUS
FSAE Race Car, the first of its kind wholly designed, built
and maintained in Singapore, and a demonstration of a novel
extraction method for Collecting Volatile Organic Compounds
in the air with a new product called NeedlEx, by Mr. Koji
Kawamura of Komyo Rikagaku Kogyo K.K, while Erlab will present
ideas on saving valuale energy in the laboratory.

Over at the SSMS (Singapore Society for Mass Spectrometry)
Seminar, workshops covering the following topics on Life Sciences
will be discussed:
- General Introduction to Live Sciences
- Mass Spectrometry for Proteomics
- Mass Spectrometry for Small Molecule Analysis
- Chromatography (HPLC) Analysis
